Tina Wesson

Tina Wesson is a three-time Survivor participant. In 2000, at the age of 40, she won her first attempt at Survivor Australia without a single vote cast against her. She was called back four years later to play an all-star season in Panama. Eight years later, she returned with her daughter for Survivor; Blood vs. Water in the Philippines where Tina and Laura Morett formed a bond and dominated the challenges for 12 days. Tina sum’s-up her Survivor experiences as “You win some, you lose some . . . most of life is lived somewhere in the middle."

Aside from Survivor, Tina's life has many other facets, including being adopted at age 2, developing rheumatoid arthritis at age 30, and losing her 25-year-old son in a car accident in 2013. It is this mixture of mountaintops and valleys that has shaped her thoughts and determination to live fully - in good times and in bad.

Tina earned a degree in therapeutic recreation from the University of Tennessee, and works with the physically disabled. She is also a certified wilderness first responder and rafting guide, and leads adventure tours. An avid traveler and motorcycle enthusiast, Tina takes time out each day to hike, bike, swim, or kayak. Her book, “Out Live, Out Laugh, Out Love,” encourages everyone to be good humans.
